patchmap takes the plot from Vectorworks and turns it into the paperwork the show runs on: channel hookup, patch, circuits, power, cables and labels. It plans the lighting and video. Its sibling, netmap, runs the show network. One show, shared live between them.
Plan and run
SHT LX-100The lighting and video
Fixtures, channels, addresses, circuits, distros and power, cable runs, and the video gear beside them. Everything a crew chief builds a book from.
- Fixtures
- Patch
- Circuits
- Power
- Cables
- Video
- Labels
The show network
Racks, switches, VLANs, IP addresses, nodes and fiber: the network that carries the show. netmap.show
- Racks
- VLANs
- IPs
- Nodes
- Fiber
- Looms
Open both on the same show and each keeps its own part. Universes in patchmap land on netmap's nodes and ports, and a patch change shows up in netmap's universe list, credited to whoever made it. One install, one account, one Suite price. After launch
Vectorworks sync
SHT LX-200Drop in the plot and the hookup is there. The desktop app watches the drawing and keeps up every time Vectorworks saves.
Every field accounted for
patchmap reads the Spotlight data exchange file in full: type, position, unit, channel, patch, circuit, color, gobos, wattage and your user fields. User fields get their meaning from their labels, so mode, distro and breaker land in the right columns.
One app in charge
On a show that uses it, patchmap is in charge of the sync. Nothing overwrites the drawing silently, and Vectorworks shows up in each row's history under its own name.
Per fixture, not per type
Mode, device type and load live on each fixture, so two modes of the same unit sit in one show and each one's DMX footprint is checked for real.
Two-way After launch
Changes written back to the drawing, a field map you set once, and a clash screen that lets you keep ours or the drawing's per field, per row or per column. Tested on copies before it touches yours.
Live, together
SHT LX-300A patchmap show is a live room. Edits arrive in order, so two people typing in the same column never quietly undo each other.
Your two machines
Pro is one person on two machines, live between them. Patch at the desk, check it on the laptop at FOH.
Your team
Studio adds people: cursors, Follow, and claims on the rows someone is working on. Plus unlimited view-only crew.
History per row
What changed, who changed it and when, with changed cells colored by person. Go back to any earlier moment.
Offline is fine
Keep working with no signal. Your edits queue on disk and merge on reconnect. A real clash shows both values and lets you choose.
Private notes stay private
Your own notes never reach guests or view-only crew, by any route.
The book on phones
Studio crew pages put the lighting book on a phone at load-in. No app to install.
The book
Drawing register · one showEvery report takes its own columns, sort, grouping and filters, and keeps several saved versions. The full page editor and a template library follow launch.
Labels from the same rows
SHT LX-600One label engine
The same engine as netmap and labels.uplink.show. Fixtures, circuits, socas, breakers, mults and looms become label data directly. No export, no retyping.
Print what you are looking at
The current view, the selection or a saved subset. Label colors follow a position or any field, one label per tag, sheet headers and footers.
Spares look like spares
A spare pin or breaker is a state, not a fake row, with its own label style.
labels Pro included
Every paid patchmap and Suite plan includes labels Pro, worth $9 a month on its own.
Both apps. One subscription.
netmap Pro, patchmap Pro and labels Pro together for $39 a month or $390 a year. One install opens both; your subscription decides what unlocks.
Hear when it opens.
